Description
- Knowledge and in-depth understanding of the different static converters (rectifiers, choppers, inverters,...);
- Latest technological developments in these converters (in particular multi-level structures);
- Synthesis of an electronic energy conversion structure v/v of a specified specification;
- Global approach to the design of a complex system (electronic components, energy conversion structure, control, real-time aspects, etc.), in response to specifications;
- Electrical converter/actuator associations;
- Control of static converters.
Objectifs
- To deepen students' knowledge of power electronics;
- Study the different structures of electronic energy conversion, in terms of specifications, performance and control;
- Experimental know-how in the field.

Pré-requis obligatoires
- Knowledge of controlled and uncontrolled electronic components;
- Basic assemblies in power electronics (uncontrolled and controlled rectifiers, step-up choppers);
- Basic knowledge of university-level mathematics (Fourier series decomposition, harmonic spectrum, differential equations).
